About Us

EDEN LETTINGS & MANAGEMENT (EL & M) is the Penrith-based residential property letting and management agency that lets Homes, for people, to people. We do not just let and manage property; people are the focus of what we do, so our services are highly personalised, with a view to enhancing the letting experience.

With 2012 expected to be a difficult year for the UK economy, EL & M looks forward to assisting Owners in finding the best Tenants for their properties and guiding Tenants to homes that best suit their needs. After three years of successful trading in the Eden area as an independent entity, EL & M is confident that it can produce the right and lasting results.

Our staff has many years' experience of the residential property markets in Eden, the Lake District and the Carlisle area. We have other related skills that enable us enhance our letting services, resulting in improved letting times and added protection of owner's interests.

Careful selection of tenants, matching applicants to property whenever possible aims to reduce void periods and increase Landlords' returns, whilst our policy of carrying out regular inspections of managed dwellings and making sure maintenance is carried out helps save costs and protects the interest of Landords and Tenants.

Our services are flexible and can be tailored to your requirements. Discussions with potential clients are welcomed and are undertaken without obligation. Our focus is on the Client and his/her property and we take pride in our value-for-money approach.

Services and Costs

We offer an simple "Tenant Finder" only service and a "Full Management" option. There are no charges to Landlords for finding suitable Tenants and setting up a tenancy agreement. No VAT is payable on those services for which a charge is made, which gives an immediate cost saving by comparison, particularly in view of the increase in VAT to 20%.
